PAC QHVDescription Polyanionic cellulose (PAC) is an effective water-based reducer. Due to the patented reagent grinding and packing technology (supplied in granular form), the reagent effectiveness is superior to its current analogues. The reagent dissolves easily in cold water and provides effective reduction of fluid loss. Range of applications The reagent is used to reduce fluid loss of fresh, saline, potassium chloride and salt-saturated drilling muds. It facilitates the development of thin, dense, elastic and tight filter cake, reducing the area of filtrate invasion into the formation, preventing the intrusion of drilling mud solids, reduces the risk of differential pressure sticking. It is widely used in cases where it is required not only to reduce fluid loss, but also to improve rheological properties of the drilling mud. |
