PAC HVDescription The reagent is a high-grade modification of polyanionic cellulose, designed to control fluid loss of the water-based drilling muds. Range of applications The reagent is used to reduce fluid loss of fresh, saline, potassium chloride and salt-saturated drilling muds. It facilitates the development of thin, dense, elastic and tight filter cake, reducing the area of filtrate invasion into the formation, preventing the intrusion of drilling mud solids, reduces the risk of differential pressure sticking. It is widely used when it is required not only to reduce fluid loss but also to improve rheological properties of the drilling mud. Depending on the solids concentration and the salinity of mixing water, treatment with the reagent will increase viscosity within the various limits. |
