Multipurpose emulsifier for oil-based muds.

Range of applications

The reagent serves as a multipurpose emulsifier in oil-based mud systems. It is developed to provide good emulsification, improved thermal stability of invert emulsion and increased high temperature (HTHP) filtration control. The reagent is able to maintain high ES (electrical stability), low filtrate HTHP and desired rheological properties at an operating temperature of up to 149  ̊C (300  ̊F).
